Purchasing enquiries · Australia-wide
We're looking to purchase used diesel and gas generator sets rated 500 kVA and above, across Australia.
If a generator is coming out of a demolition, redevelopment, decommissioning or equipment replacement project, we'd like to hear about it, whether it's still installed or already removed.

Complete reciprocating generator sets, rather than turbines. Please tell us the fuel type if you know it.
No upper size limit. Share the rating as it appears on the nameplate, if available.
Units still in place on site, or equipment that has already been taken out.
One generator or several from the same site or program of works.
Current availability, or a planned future removal you can tell us about early.
Please describe the condition as accurately as you can: running or not, known faults, hours and service history. Each enquiry is assessed individually, so we can't confirm interest in every unit.

Existing sets being taken out of service as part of a generator replacement or upgrade.
Plant being cleared from closing sites, data centres or industrial facilities.
Building and industrial site owners, and facilities, project or asset disposal managers.
Not sure who handles the sale? Let us know who does, such as the site owner or another party. That's helpful too.
Use the form, email or phone. Rough details are fine; the technical specifications are optional.
We'll look at what you've sent and contact you to talk through the unit, its timing and who handles the sale.
Any purchase and collection arrangements are discussed and agreed separately for each unit. Sending an enquiry doesn't create an offer or a commitment on either side.
Tell us what you have. Only a few fields are required. If you don't know the rating or model, describe what you can.
You can email photos and nameplate images to info@generatortrade.com.au.
See our privacy notice for how enquiry details are handled.
